Exquisite pastries, using the finest ingredients, and beautifully presented, this is the first pastry shop I would give 10 out of 10 as a rating. We ordered mini cassettas, mini chocolate mousse nocciola budini, and mini lobster tails (sfogliatelle) with cream. The flavors of each one were paradise. The cassatta were made with homemade marzipan, the ricotta was fresh and light, the mousse with hazelnut topping was velvety and light, yet rich and intense, the lobster tail (sfogliatelle) was crunchy, buttery-clearly made with artisan butter, and the cream was generous and heavenly. The young man who helped us was kind and took care in wrapping our treats with respect and graciousness. The next time we are in Rome, it will be the first place we visit! Genuine artisan pastries like these are so difficult to find these days, and if they cost a bit more it is because the ingredients and work that goes into making them is well worth the money!My husband and I got assorted pastries, and each one was so delicious. We will be going back for a cake during our stay. The pastries were a work of art, bellissima! The service was kind and helpful.
I don’t know how much this cake cost but whatever it was it was worth it

My wife and I agree (Of course we do - I'm no fool) that this has to be one of the finest old world Italian bakeries we have found in Rome, regardless of neighborhood. Several of the pastries my wife hasn't seen since childhood visits to her Italian grandmothers kitchen. Pastries don't get much better than this.
